Activities and Amenities Specifically for Seniors
- Physical Therapy under the oversight of a licensed practitioner in Mogambo Springs Spa. 30-minute sessions for a variety of issues. (Charges apply, or it may be included as part of a package.)
- Blood pressure, Pulse/Oxygenation, Blood Sugar, Pain Killers, Cold Remedies, Indigestion Medications, Change of Wound Dressing, and other minor clinic matters. Free during Clinic hours.
- Botanical Tour. 45-60 minutes. Free. Upon request, an experienced hotel guide will take you around the many specimen plants and trees in the resort. Learn about Breadfruit, Bamboo, Banyan, and of course many more.
- Design Your Own Resort. Therapeutic art. Free for Seniors. With supplies provided by the hotel, create a model of a resort. Sturdy gift box that you can take home with you to share with family and others.
- Bingo Tournament. Several rounds, 90 minutes. Held from time to time at Alien Abduction at 5 pm. Cost to join is any order exceeding P 200. Prizes are hotel food and services.
Activities for All Adults, and Parent-Child Together
- Mahjong and Card Table (free, first-come basis, 2-hour limit if anyone else is waiting). Alpine Lounge throughout opening times.
- Name Game. Free. The resort’s building and facility names use all 26 letters, following the theme “exotic places in fact and fiction”. Signs at each location explain the name. Your task is to match the name with a clue, based on the name explanations. Bring the Matching Sheet with you and fill it out as you tour the hotel. Prizes for good scores! Ideal for Father-Child interaction.
- Philippine Fruit and Nut Preserve Sampling. Free first round. Twice-weekly at Fiji Restaurant, during opening hours. An introduction to some sweet and salty flavors found in possibly the most “fruity” and “nutty” country on earth.
- Introduction to the Basic Types of Tea. 30-45 minutes. Free. Twice-weekly at Alpine Lounge. Brief video (3 languages available), followed by a sampling of four teas and one infusion (an “infusion” is a tea-like beverage not made from the tea plant).
- Whiskey Blind Tasting. Not free; P 480. Twice-weekly at Alpine Lounge. Brief video on the origins of grain whiskey. Sip unmarked samples of 5 different kinds (blended Scotch, bourbon, Irish whiskey, Japanese whiskey, single-malt Scotch, 15 ml each). Try to identify which is which; no repetition of guesses (e.g., you can’t guess “bourbon” twice). Edible prizes for getting 5/5 or 3/5 correct.
- Design Your Own Resort for Parent-Child Bonding. With supplies provided by the hotel, create a model of a resort, using your shared imagination. Sturdy gift box that you can take home with you to show your friends. P1000 per child in advance; charge will be fully cancelled upon completion if a parent or older relative stayed and interacted with the child throughout the process.

- Dance instruction. Once weekly. Learn how to look good on the dance floor with many kinds of popular danceable music. A hotel instructor will teach you how to “lead”, be led, and groove with the rhythm of the music.
