Our family stayed by the lagoon for 4 days and 5 nights with our two toddlers. This 5-star resort in the heart of Cebu is classic yet timeless for us. It's great to introduce our kids to our rich Filipino culture of hospitality, respect, and beauty. This resort proudly stands among the few Filipino-owned properties that support locals, surely a national heritage of the Philippines. Not to mention, it was severely affected by Super Typhoon Odette in 2021 but astonished us with how it recovered despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and the typhoon.

What I love about it:

It features several saltwater lagoons, numerous freshwater swimming pools, and beach access.
Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available everywhere.
There are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities: archery, golf, shooting, wall climbing, diving, kayaking, biking, arcades, billiards, etc.
The spa offers massage, sauna, and Jacuzzi facilities.
Several world-class restaurants and a convenient access store are available.
Transportation within the resort, such as bikes and shuttle services, is provided.
There are child-friendly activities: multiple slides, kids' pools, and arts and crafts (e.g., necklace making, tie-dye, etc.).
Beautiful natural scenery provides an escape from the hustle and bustle, offering a paradise to recharge.
Friendly staff are present everywhere, and there's a chauffeur service to and from the airport or other requested destinations.
Classic furnishings embody Philippine design aesthetics.
The resort is affiliated with Plantation Prime canned goods, supporting locals, and offering a taste of Plantation Bay beyond the resort. Various Filipino food options are available, easily prepared and found in major groceries.
Bidets are available in all resort toilets.

Seeing is believing, but this place comes highly recommended for families with kids and everyone alike.

We stayed here for a week in February and highly recommend this resort. We had so much fun! One day, we went on an excursion for island hopping, and on another day, we spent time exploring on our own. For the rest of the week, we enjoyed the resort's facilities and never grew tired of the restaurant's food. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay; it was possibly the best holiday we've had in three years. I highly recommend it, and I would definitely love to come back!

Plantation Bay is the only resort where you can swim for 24 hours. There's no place like this in Cebu. Taking pictures with your phones is always a good idea. You can see the nice view, pool, and sunshine. Bicycles are also free, and there are many restaurants to choose from. It is such a beautiful place to go to.

Plantation Bay Cebu is a household name for the time in memory. It features a big saltwater lagoon mimicking the sea in a controlled environment. The staff is warm and accommodating, plus the architecture of the buildings is very Filipino.

Thinking of going on a Cebu trip? Want to take a break from your busy life? To the ones that do, this is a highly recommended accommodation. When you open the door to the balcony, you can swim straight into the swimming pool or lagoons. I like the Poolside room. Water activities are fun, and you don't need to go anywhere else. You can take pictures everywhere, and the white bridge at the center is a perfect spot. They have a bicycle that allows you to explore the whole resort. The resort's view and room accommodations are pretty. They have many restaurants to choose from where the food is great, a cafe and a bar of course. Highly recommended accommodation for lovers, friends, and family!

I booked a room at Plantation Bay Resort & Spa. The water is pretty good and the location of our room is perfect for healing. I can easily look at my kids while playing and swimming. We are all satisfied with the restaurant and the free amenities. Stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking are fun, and bikes are a must in the resort with the cool breeze. These are all free! This place is a paradise, and it is such a charming place.

I had an endless swimming time in this resort. It's regrettable that I couldn't go to all of them for three nights because there are four swimming pools. We had a delicious dinner with an exciting dance concept! Every moment became an experience for children. Thanks to the staff who gave the kids cotton candy as a present, the kids were even more excited in the evening. It was always fantastic at Plantation Bay Cebu. Palermo Restaurant is my favorite restaurant. I like the taste of the white wine recommended by one of the staff. The food, atmosphere, and the service are great. Kilimanjaro Kafe has an excellent breakfast, and Fiji is perfect for a light meal.
